Dell Volunteer Program in Hearing Impaired School_R.S.Puram

The Dell Volunteer program was conducted on 30.01.2015 for Hearing Impaired students,R.S.Puram from 11 am to 3.45 pm. 10 Dell Employees were engaged in this program. This program mainly focused on to develop their skills through Drama,Athletics,Paint and Sport for students from 1st Std to 9th Std.

STIR Official visits in Coimbatore

On January 28^th , Mr. Divesh visited AIF Coimbatore office and interacted with all the Training Coordinators, discussed next steps and addressed questions.

Reporter visits in DE School

The Reporter of TamilNadu weekly magazine Puthiya Thalaimurai Kalvi(New Generation Kalvi) visited our DE schools and interacted with the School Heads,teachers and Students to know the impact of our DE program. The reporter saw the good impact and good feedback. It was published on 27th January 2015 across TamilNadu and Pandicherry.

STIR's 2nd Cluster Meeting

Conducted STIR's 2nd Cluster(Teachers Network) meeting on 09-01-15 in two venue (Corporation High School_Anupparpalayam & Corp.Girls Hr.Sec.School_Ramakrishnapuram) from 10.00 am to 03.00 pm.Totally 34 trs out of 40 attended  in these two venue. The following things were happened in the meeting

• General briefing and recap of last cluster meeting.
• 2nd cluster meeting PPT was shown and explained by the team
• Teachers shared their Micro innovation ideas.
• Teachers showcased their documentation.
• Teachers discussed about steps taken towards MI and follow-ups. 
• Filled the cluster meeting 2 portfolio pages.

Our Team initiated to create Whatapp Group,the teachers will update their innovative ideas at any time. The Admin of the WhatsApp Group is  Mrs.J.Jamuna Tr. from Corporation Girls Hr.Sec.School, Ranganathapuram for STiR Network Teachers.

 

DELL Volunteer Program

Conducted DELL volunteer program on 27^th & 28^th December 2014  at Corporation Girls High School, Puliyakulam, and our DE office, Coimbatore. We engaged 12 Volunteers and they spent 60 Hrs.We involved the Dell volunteers for the follow up of “Clean School Clean Coimbatore” on 27^th December. 4 dell volunteers spent 12 hours for this Drive, they cleaned the school campus. The purpose of this activity was to educate students in Coimbatore on the importance of litter prevention and in taking pride in the appearance of their school.        

NFLAT Result

From TN,Corporation Girls Higher Secondary School,Oppanakara Street_Coimbatore got 15th Rank in top 25 award winning schools for participation in NFLAT exam 2014-2015 from 1600 schools which was held on 6th & 7th December.The school will get Rs. 25000/- and a Trophy/ Shield. And also 274 students passed in Merit. In these top percentage is 93.19.She got 3125 rank in one lakh students. 4 students got above 90 percentage.

NFLAT Exam

     National Center for Financial Education(NCFE) conducted NFLAT(National Financial Literacy Assessment Test) exam for the last two days(6 & 7.12.14).Totally 1722 students from 23 schools attended the NFLAT exam through online in KGISL Institue Of Techonology (KITE) and Arts & Science College, KG Campus,Saravanampatti.The students very eagerly attended the exam.The Corporation supported well. The students got an opportunity for the exposure to online exams.
