2015 TEACHER CHANGEMAKER SUMMIT,BENGALURU

American India Foundation associated with STIR,it is UK based International organization that works with the Govt. and affordable private schools in India and certain other countries. The ChangeMaker Yatri organized by STIR on 02.05.2015 in Bengaluru. From Coimbatore 25 Teachers and 4 TCs were enrolled for the event.Teachers from other States like,Uttar Pradesh,Karnataka,Andhra Pradesh,Maharashtra Etc.were also present for the ChangeMaker Yatri.In total around 400 teachers took part in the event.

In this Yatri, Roehampton University Certificates were given to the teachers who one at National level. 3 Teachers got from Coimbatore.

Dell Volunteer Program

As a follow up of Clean School Drive conducted Dell Volunteer Program on 25.04.2015 at Corporation Girls High School,Puliyakulam_Coimbatore from 7.30 am to 12.30 pm. The main activities were School Ground and Garden Cleaning. 41 Dell Volunteers spent 205 Hrs for this.

STIR Orientation

Conducted 2nd level STIR orientation for the Team by STIR official Mr.Divesh & Mrs.Sneha on 7th April in DE office,Coimbatore.

English Helper's Endline Assessment

English Helper's Endline assessment conducted in 10 EH schools and 1 Control school during the month of March in Coimbatore. 94% of students were participated. AIF’s school coordinators were instrumental in conducting, collecting and delivering the assessments.

Order Copy for Extending the DE Program

Got the order copy from the Corporation for Extending the DE program(2015-2016) in Coimbatore for one more year and TEA implementation for 83 school on 11-03-2015.

Mirror Project in DE Schools

As a part of "Clean School Drive" to create the awareness of self cleanliness of the students Mirror Project is implemented in 10 schools of Coimbatore Corporation on 25th February 2015. A mirror,5 Nail cutters and 5 Comb provided to each school to develop the self confidence by developing their personality.

STIR's 3rd & 4th Cluster Meeting

Conducted 3rd & 4th Cluster(Teachers Network) meeting on 12.02.2015 in Corporation High School_Anupparpalayam and Corporation Girls High School_Puliyakulam from 10 am to 3.30 pm,35 teachers were attended the meeting.
