IT Training for School Heads

IT training  for the 27 Corporation school Heads was conducted on 29-01-2013 at Corporation High School in Maniyakaranpalayam. The school Heads were given training in MS. Word,MS.Excel and Tamil fonts. This training would make the Heads to use computer individually, comfortably without any others Support. Mainly they were trained to type Tamil Fonts; it will be very helpful in sending all official works in Tamil fonts. Before that we had the demonstration in usage of Digital board to all school heads.

8th batch Centralized Teachers Training

The 8th Batch Centralized Teachers Training was held at Corporation High School, Anuparpalayam between 22-01-2013 and 24-01-2013. Topics of MS. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet and also Multiple Intelligence and Collaborative learning were trained. 30 teachers participated in the training. Till now 249 teachers are under training in the first Phase.

IT to Help Differently abled Students

DE programme takes the challenge to teach the Differently abled students in Corporation Deaf and Dumb High School- R.S.Puram, Coimbatore. The teacher teaches the students to learn using visual images through projects and e-content.

Students learn easy through technology

A Part of DE Programme, Dell Connected Class room is engaged with Students and Teachers, Teachers teach effectively and Students learn interestingly. Mrs.S.Antony Mary BT Asst. taught Science for 9th Std on "Digestion" and Mrs.Saraswathi SGT taught English Grammar for 8th Std on 22-01-2013.

   

Inauguration of Dell Connected Classroom

Smart Classroom with 25 laptops and Interactive white board provided by Dell & implemented by AIF at Corporation High School, Maniyakaranpalayam was inaugurated on 11th Jan 2013. Worshipful Mayor – S.M. Velusamy inaugurated the smart classroom. Mr. T. Malaravan – MLA, Mr. S. Sivarasu – Commissioner(I/C), Deputy Mayor, Regional Heads of various zones of Coimbatore and Corporation Education Officer took part in the event. A demonstration on using the interactive white board provided by Coordinator fascinated the Mayor and other dignitaries. The Corporation declared to support four more schools of other zones in the city with such infrastructure and requested AIF to provide content and training.
