Children's Day Competition - 2013

On the occasion of Children's day 2013, Corporation Interschool CHESS Tournament and Content Projects Competition were conducted on 13-11-13 at Corporation SRP.Ammaniammal Girls Hr.Sec.School,R.S.Puram from 9.30 am to 2.45 pm. Students from 6th to 9th std were participated from 27 Schools.The Highlight of the competition was the students from Hearing Impaired School participated in the two events. Competitions were conducted in two levels (6th & 7th, 8th & 9th std). 54 students were participated in the CHESS Tournament and 45 students were participated in the Content Projects. 35 Projects were showcased.The CHESS tournament conducted by two CHESS Orbitors and 4 Physical Education Teachers. Our TCs evaluated the Content projects.

TAB LAB Inauguration

TAB LAB with 30 Tablets  provided by Dell & implemented by AIF at Corporation High School for Deaf,R.S.Puram was inaugurated on 12th November 2013. Worshipful Mayor – S.M. Velusamy inaugurated the TAB LAB. Tmt.G.Latha I.A.S,Commissioner,Mr.S. Sivarasu – Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Mayor, Regional Heads of various zones of Coimbatore and Corporation Education Officer,Regional Coordinator-DE,AIF took part in the event. A demonstration on usage of Tablet by Coordinator fascinated the Mayor and other dignitaries.

DELL Volunteer Program

         DELL volunteer program conducted on 11^th September 2013 from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm in Corporation SRP.Ammaniammal Girls Hr.Sec.School, R.S.Puram, Coimbatore. 31 DELL volunteers participated in the program. The volunteers conducted Spoken English, Quiz, CHESS and Extracurricular activities.

        402 students benefited from 6^th to 9^th Std. CHESS  practice for 28 students from 6^th to 9^th Std. Spoken English and Extra Curricular activities for  6B,7B,8B,9B,9C . 158 students got benefited. Students got opportunity to develop their communication skills and to execute their personal talents and interest apart from their subjects. 6A,7A,8A,9A1,9A2 Quiz       competition & Extra Curricular activities for 6A,7A,8A,9A1,9A2. 216 students got benefited.
