Digital Story Telling


DST means Using media tools the students of grade 6 thro 9 would be given opportunity to express their concerns, issues of their community/school/family and neighborhood. This would be in the form of Digital Story Telling where documentaries, animations, photo essays would be created by the students for the school/ villages/ Corporation they belong to. Since most of the projects would be connecting the real life situations, the experience of the students would longstanding triggering the creativity and unlocking the potential of the students to step into the world of media tools.
 The DSTs from Corporation Girls Hr.Sec.School,Ranganathapuram on topic How people move towards Diseases”,  Corporation Hr.Sec.School, Peelamedu  on topic “water conservation”,Corporation Girls Hr.Sec.School,R.S.Puram on topic "Banking", Corporation Hr.Sec.School,Selvapuram on topic "Plastic" and Corporation High School,K.K.Pudur on topic "Campaign against on consumption of alcoholism"

Summer Camp 2013

        Summer camp was conducted in the month of April –May 2013. 23 Schools in those 676 students were trained in three categories like Digital Story Telling, Project Based Learning and Content Projects. The camp was conducted for 5 days in each school. From this camp the students learnt various multimedia software. Project Based Learning means learning the content by comparing to the real life situation making field survey, analyzing and finding a solution for a problem.DST means Using media tools the students of grade 6 thro 9 would be given opportunity to express their concerns, issues of their community/school/family and neighborhood.
